Seasonal Inventory & Shipping/Receiving Clerk (3-6 Months)

Launch Math + Science Centers provide toddlers to tweens with inspiring math instruction and STEM-based camps and workshops. Launch is currently hiring a full-time, Seasonal Inventory & Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This role will last approximately 3-6 months and play a vital role in the implementation of Launch's summer programs across multiple sites. Through shipping, receiving, kitting and material preparation, the Inventory Clerk assures that all of Launch's camps run successfully.

Inventory Management

- Prepare and maintain records of all inventory

- Compile material order requests and issue them to management

- Work with Program Manager to ensure adequate inventory and preparation of materials

- Process incoming shipments and adjust inventory counts

- Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems

- Perform physical inventory analyses as necessary

- Develop processes that safeguard inventory

- Remain knowledgeable of all Launch curriculum as it pertains to inventory needs


- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments

- Prepare shipping cartons for all outgoing packages

- Transport boxes to shipping facilities, if necessary

- Maintain relationships with carrier vendors

Curriculum Kitting

- Lead kitting process for STEM projects

- Create production schedules for ordering materials and processing kits for STEM projects

- Ensure deadlines for kit production are met


- Implement procedures to improve quality, productivity and efficiency



Position may offer opportunity to convert to permanent role.
